Maybelline - Styled Out

Good morning! Are we all watching the Olympics!?

Today I have yet another lacquer from Maybelline’s new line of nail polishes. This one is in Styled Out, part of the “Denim” line. It’s a beautiful dark but hazy kind of blue with silver sparkles. I have to say, it does almost look like jeans on your nails!

The application was fantastic, so opaque I thought it was a one coater. Of course, there would be the occasional “bald spot” but I’d just go over that with more polish. But, as I put on my top coat, it peeled away at the nail polish! And yes, the blue was already dry. So then, I realized this was a two coater… so close! Anyways, the second coat really did make a difference in the color. On my ring finger, I used Sinful Colors’ Nail Junky, a blue based jelly glitter. As I said in my last post, these polishes range from three to four dollars depending on your location. I really do like them!

What do you think about accent nails? Tacky or cute? I love them!
