Maybelline - Bold Gold

Happy almost Friday!

Maybelline has also recently release a new line called Maybelline Color Show. It includes nail polishes within a huge color range, and finishes. I picked up a beautiful metallic gold. I did 2 coats for the photos below.

Bold Gold is so unique, and it almost reminds me of something that belongs in Essie’s new collection, Mirror Metallics. It cost around three dollars, so it was very reasonable. It applied great, as long as you make sure you have enough polish on the brush, if you don’t the application gets clumpy. I also would recommend buffing your nails before using this, because it magnifies ridges like no tomorrow! Sorry for the lack of pictures, it was really hard to capture the actual color. For the butterfly on my ring finger, I used the Salon Express set, which I got as a gift, and Milani’s Black Magic polish. I really love this combination; I think it’d be great for the holidays!
